You may have a good product, good service, and a good offer, but if the path to the goal is complicated, people give up. UX/CX testing helps you understand how users really experience your website, app, or digital service: where they navigate easily, where they get confused, what annoys them, why they abandon tasks, and what they need to complete their intended actions.
UX (User Experience) focuses on usability and logic: whether everything is clear, whether the user “knows what’s next,” how quickly they find information, where they make mistakes, and why. CX (Customer Experience) takes a broader perspective: the overall impression of your brand and service across different touchpoints—from first click to support, payment, delivery, registration, or complaints. In practice, these two approaches are often combined, because users do not separate “design” from experience.
This testing is particularly useful if you experience drops in efficiency, low response to campaigns, increased support inquiries, poor ratings or comments, or if you are planning a redesign and want to ensure you focus on the right elements. Sometimes the issues are small “details” that make a big difference: a single button, step order, unclear sentence, too many fields in a form, confusing navigation, poorly explained price or terms.

How does UX/CX testing work?
First, we define the goal and key tasks the user needs to perform: find information, fill out a form, complete a purchase, schedule a service, send an inquiry, register, provide details, or access specific content. Then we select the test user profile (target group) and prepare a testing scenario to obtain real reactions, not “answers that sound smart.”
Testing can be conducted in-person, online, or in a hybrid format. Users go through tasks while a moderator observes behavior, questions, mistakes, and moments of confusion. Short questions may also be included after each phase to understand what the user expected and how they interpreted what they saw. Finally, you receive a clear report: critical points, most common problems, what can be fixed easily, and what requires more significant changes.

Advantages of UX/CX testing:
- Identification of points where users stumble, make mistakes, or abandon tasks
- Understanding user expectations and thought processes while using the product
- Increased efficiency by removing obstacles and simplifying processes
- Reduced burden on customer support (fewer questions, less confusion)
- Clear recommendations for improving website, app, or digital service
- Testing redesigns or new features before launch
- Better brand impression and improved user experience
UX/CX testing provides practical answers to the key question: what exactly should be changed to make the experience easier, faster, and more enjoyable. Optionally, testing can be combined with short online surveys or interviews to capture perceptions, expectations, and reasons users choose (or abandon) your service.
